When The Saints Go Marching In

Honestly, I really would have been happy with either team winning. I am a Falcons and Jaguars fan. I can appreciate the Saints win a little more though because of all the hard work they have been through, and not just on the field.
When they came to Atlanta for the first game of the season and impressively beat the Falcons, I knew then that this year was going to be special for the New Orleans Saints. Even in the wake of one of the most devastating hurricanes in recent history, they managed to stay focused, deal with adversity, and stay committed as a team to be where they are now: The Best Football Team in the World.
I went to a few spots around town to watch the game. The first was Ixtlan. Everyone knows I am usually there every Wednesday anyway. My little sister Jayda and her husband Johnnie was throwing a party for all the N.O. friends and family that she has. I stayed until halftime then I left. The Colts were actually up at the half.
When I left Ixtlan, I drove by Leverage. I really did not see much popping off and I really wanted to eat so I ended up at Fox Sports where I say Erica, Lauren, and Gina, some of my friends. It was a back and forth game until the last quarter and by far one of the best Superbowl’s I have ever seen in my lifetime.
Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for their win over the Indianapolis Colts in Superbowl XVIL. It was well deserved.
